This Panasonic MT621 capacitor is the correct replacement for Seiko watches fitted with the V137 or V138 movement, using the 3026.24X capacitor reference.
- Capacitors are supplied without charge, exactly as they would be at the point of sale of a new watch.
- The capacitor must be fitted into a working movement to charge — it will not charge outside the watch.
- Seiko's guidance is that full charging can take up to 5 days once fitted.
- If the capacitor runs flat and the watch stops, around 2,500 shakes will typically restart normal running.
- Alternatively, 24 hours under a light box will bring the capacitor up to full charge.
