These extenders screw onto the end of an existing watch stem to lengthen it, so you don't need to source and fit an exact replacement stem. Simply thread the extender onto the broken or short stem to bring it back out to the correct length for the crown to attach. Supplied in the two most common stem thread sizes — 0.9mm (tap 9) and 0.7mm (tap 7) — so most stems needing extension will be covered by one of the two.
